getting to know you....and me!

after some encouragement from my friend yvonne and never one to miss jumping on a bandwagon, i have started a crafty blog.  i will hopefully post here once a week or so and i try to get into various crafting endeavours. i like card making, origami, jewellery making, i can knit a little bit and i'd like to learn crochet. i also adore baking - especially the works of the legendary nigella, but also a big fan of rachel allen's new book.

however, they say a picture is worth a thousand words, so......HAI!
